How nice that my feet have finally hit the floor after a week of travel, and in perfect time to see this gorgeous thing go out. It's a beautiful 19th century French Louis XV day bed, and finding original 19th century ones is hard. We recently had it re-upholstered for a client in this stunning silvery grey velvet, and individually studded with the back and sides done in a beautiful pink, green and silver velvet. Ah I'm in love, and once again sadly waving goodbye. There is a similar
beautiful French Louis XV chaise that has just come in from France though, so it's not all bad news!
